Bitcoin (BTC) declined 1.3% to $62,994.07, pushing the largest cryptocurrency below the important $63,000 price level. Trading activity remained substantial, with BTC recording $18.81 billion in volume and maintaining a $1.26 trillion market capitalization.
Ethereum (ETH) also struggled for direction, falling 1.1% to $1,873.54 while recording approximately $5.62 billion in trading volume. Its market capitalization reached $226.13 billion, keeping Ethereum firmly positioned as the second-largest cryptocurrency by overall market value.
Meanwhile, XRP (XRP) declined 0.6% to exactly $1.00, placing the asset around an important psychological price level. XRP recorded $745.21 million in trading volume, while its total market capitalization remained around $62.91 billion.
Selling pressure extended beyond those three assets, with BNB (BNB) dropping 0.7% to $608.24 during the same period. Additionally, Solana (SOL) declined 1.2% to $75.50, while its trading volume reached approximately $1.11 billion.
TRON (TRX) dropped 1.3% to $0.3341, matching Bitcoin’s percentage decline as weakness spread across other large-cap cryptocurrencies. Hyperliquid (HYPE) slipped 1% to $56.43, while Dogecoin (DOGE) fell 1.3% and traded around $0.06963.

Akedo Explodes 93% as Smaller Tokens Defy Broader Market Decline
Despite widespread losses among major cryptocurrencies, Akedo (AKE) recorded a contrasting performance by surging 93.1% to $0.007793. Significantly, AKE generated approximately $106.77 million in trading volume, placing considerable activity behind its move during the period.
Gold Park (GPT) followed with a 62.9% increase to $0.00783, although its trading volume reached only $124,753. Velvet (VELVET) gained 38.7% to $0.9929, supported by approximately $49.23 million in reported trading activity.
Moreover, OpenEden (EDEN) advanced 34.7% to $0.06374, while its trading volume reached an impressive $75.97 million. DoubleZero (2Z) climbed 19.5% to $0.05727, accompanied by approximately $21.11 million in trading volume.
GoPlus Security (GPS) rose 17% to $0.01114, while Wibx (WBX) gained 16.2% and reached $0.001951. SanDisk bStocks Tokenized Stock (SNDKB) gained 15.6% to $1,557.24, supported by roughly $109.76 million in volume. Overall, weakness dominated major cryptocurrencies, while Akedo (AKE) separated itself from broader market conditions with its standout 93.1% advance.
