Elon Musk Grok AI Plan Gains Traction, CZ’s Attention

Elon Musk has revealed a new twist in his artificial intelligence company, Grok, as he is planning an upgrade in version 3.5 or even Grok 4.

The AI news was extremely popularized almost immediately. Consequently, the development prompted a response from Binance co-founder, Zhao Changpeng (CZ).

CZ expressed curiosity about Musk’s vision of rewriting global knowledge, a task that Musk claims will fix errors in current AI models trained on flawed data.

Elon Musk Says Grok Will Rebuild Human Knowledge

In his latest statement on X, Elon Musk revealed that the new Grok model, under his xAI startup, will attempt to reconstruct the full body of human knowledge.

Elon Musk clarified that the majority of AI models are being trained with unrefined data that is full of errors and out-of-date content.

His group intends to rearrange this information, by correcting any errors, adding missing information, and training subsequent Grok models.

This development has placed Musk back at the forefront of AI news, following previous announcements where Grok was integrated into the X platform.

The entrepreneur described this upcoming upgrade as one that will equip Grok 3.5 with advanced reasoning capabilities.

The Tesla CEO tweeted,

“We will use Grok 3.5 (maybe we should call it 4), which has advanced reasoning, to rewrite the entire corpus of human knowledge, adding missing information and deleting errors.”

Musk’s ambition to restructure what he terms “garbage-filled” training sets has caught the attention of both tech and crypto communities alike.

Binance Cofounder CZ Reacts to Musk’s Grok Vision

Shortly after Elon Musk’s AI news post gained momentum, Binance’s Changpeng Zhao responded via X. CZ quoted Musk’s post and said he was curious to see how this initiative would unfold.

He added that the nature of knowledge—especially historical records and subjective opinions—makes such an endeavor complicated.

The Binance co-founder CZ raised questions about how Musk’s Grok model will determine what information is valid and what should be deleted.

He pointed out that many “truths” in history and public discourse remain under constant debate.

This would creating challenges for any AI model attempting to curate a singular corpus of global knowledge.

Musk’s AI Update Revives Meme Culture

As part of the ongoing discourse around Grok, users on X proposed humorous naming suggestions for the new version. One suggestion was “Grok 4.20,” a nod to Elon Musk’s known affinity for the number 420 and April 20, which is often referenced in Dogecoin and meme culture.

While not official, the suggestion reflects how closely Musk’s AI initiatives remain tied to internet and crypto trends.

Elon Musk also posted a meme featuring Pepe the Frog shortly after a SpaceX Starship exploded during a test.

Meanwhile, according to latest news, Elon Musk is moving closer to transforming X into a full-fledged financial super-app.

The platform has secured over 40 U.S. money-transmitter licenses and partnered with Visa to enable direct wallet funding through X Money. Elon Musk aims to integrate investing, payments, and possibly crypto trading into the app.

CZ Also Addresses Crypto Trading Transparency

Separately, CZ made another post earlier this week in which he commented on trading behavior within the crypto space. In particular, he was talking about traders who publish their trade sizes and leverage approaches.

CZ referred to this technique as a psychological positioning or advertising, and went on to explain that most serious traders would rather keep such information to themselves.

The statement is a reaction to a trader who used 20x leverage on Bitcoin. In response to whether he trades or not, CZ answered that he only trades a few times.

He stated that for him cryptocurrency is a way of spending, and added that all his portfolio and investments are in crypto assets.
