On Tuesday, July 30, Vice President Kamala Harris announced a staggering $50 million advertising push ahead of the Democratic National Conventionn (DMC) This marks the first significant ad campaign since Harris emerged as the likely Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election. Moreover, the campaign fired back at former President Donald Trump’s 30-second ad that took aim at Harris today.

A Look At Kamala Harris’ Ad Campaign

The first ad, titled “Fearless,” highlights Kamala Harris’ extensive legal background and her tenure as Vice President. Moreover, it brands her as a champion for the American people. “This campaign is about who we fight for,” Harris states in the ad. She added:

“We believe in a future where every person has the opportunity not just to get by, but to get ahead. Where every senior can retire with dignity.”

Furthermore, the ad emphasizes her career milestones as a prosecutor and California Attorney General. It showcases her reputation for standing up to bullies, criminals, and special interests. In addition, Kamala Harris’ campaign chair, Jen O’Malley Dillon, reinforced this narrative by stating:

“Throughout her career as a courtroom prosecutor, Attorney General, United States Senator, and now as Vice President, Kamala Harris has always stood up to bullies, criminals and special interests on behalf of the American people – and she’s beaten them.”

Dillon even went to say that Harris is capable of defeating Trump. The campaign chair stated, “She’s uniquely suited to take on Donald Trump, a convicted felon who has spent his entire life ripping off working people, tearing away our rights, and fighting for himself.”
