Dan Weinberger opened up the discussion by introducing partner and advisor, CEO of Dimitra Technology Jon Trask, who goes in-depth about their recent launches and developments in the past few months.
DIMITRA UPDATES FROM JON Dimitra has been working on some exciting updates involving two of our platform application launches in the last few months.
DIMITRA LIVESTOCK GURU PLATFORM UPDATE In March 2022, we launched the Dimitra Livestock Guru Platform, which aims to work with genetics, genomics (a genetic marker), production (how many calves you can expect from each cow), and feed management for cattle, and more. Itâs currently being rolled out nationally in Africa as a long-term contract that will allow farmers to improve their herdsâ health.
CONNECTED FARMER PLATFORM UPDATE In April 2022, we launched the Connected Farmer Platform Application, going live in India. This application allows for functionality for smallholder farmersâââto run their businesses and manage outputs. We are very excited about this launch and will provide quarterly updates to our community.
CEO Dan Weinberger announces we will partner with Dimitra Technology, Dimitraâs Ugandan partner Loys Technologies, the National Informational Technology Authority and the Uganda Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, to implement an Agro Input Traceability System. The project is integration between both Dimitra and Morpheus Networkâs platforms, and we are incredibly excited about the upcoming roll-out of that integration.
The partnership provides an opportunity for the government of Uganda to improve their economic outputs with Dimitraâs platform application while managing all of their supply chain business processes and tracking with the Morpheus.Network platform.
Dan expresses what a perfect collaboration it is because we can provide traceability solutions for farmers and agribusinesses throughout Uganda while also helping them manage their supply chains, ultimately aiding in increasing their profits.
UGANDA PROJECT IN DEPTH Loys Technology will assist Dimitra in offering administrative support and training on the ground in Uganda to help the national government manage its agricultural sector. As explained by Jon, the goal of this project is to help Uganda manage its agricultural output. This means managing their seed sources, how they perform, how they do when planted, and how farmers are educated on growing them successfully and how to move their crops from the farm to market.
For Morpheus.Network, helping the Ugandan government means more than digitizing documents or streamlining workflowsâââitâs about creating a system that helps Uganda manage the input of their agricultural sector and how that data is used. Dan adds how this partnership really shows how helping the Ugandan government goes beyond simply streamlining data, but taking that data to optimize supply chains that can help governments like Uganda achieve their goals! We will also be working with another African nation soon with their efforts, please stay tuned.
Trust layer Master Nodes Program Update Utilizing blockchain technology in the backend, we are currently developing a cutting-edge âtrusted dataâ layer. The solution is a decentralized system of nodes where all critical data passes through creating a higher level of âtrustâ to that data giving it a metaphorical âgreen check markâ to it.
âWe want to revolutionize what it means to decentralize supply chains around the world, allowing companies, whether through Morpheus or any sort of company with API connection run company, to take advantage of the decentralized trust layer.â
We are excited to share details of our partnership with Marsh Insurance, the largest insurance broker in the world! As part of this partnership, weâll be working together to develop a module for a one-click insurance document creation. The focus of this module is on streamlining the process of data pulling and certificate creation. We can help make it easier for our clients to initiate the insurance process through this work.
Weâre thrilled to be working with such an industry leader and are looking forward to seeing what we can create together!
Weâre helping coffee farmers in Indonesia export their coffee to North America, helping them with tracking the coffee beans from inception to planting through all processes. Weâve also landed deals with Egypt, Colombia, Bolivia, Papua New Guinea, Brazil, and India and expect to work with many more countries throughout the year.
Dimitra is also sponsoring a data contest with Ocean Protocol. They will open a subset of data to run analysis on and open it up to data analysts and data scientists from around the globe in hopes that theyâll come up with insights to help solve farming problems around the globe. The incentives include Dimitra and Ocean tokens. Stay tuned to learn more about this contest.
â We will be traveling for the rest of the year and are excited for any more releases from a technology stand up.â
Jon: Itâs always been fun working with you. Itâs been at least 3 years working together on Blockchain initiatives. It is always exciting working with different clients to collaborate and I appreciate working with the team, yourself, Noam, Carl, and Karl and many of the others that we get to meet with. We are really excited to see this integration between Dimitra and Morpheus.
We are very excited for all the new projects coming up with Dimitra!
