The City of Lugano has unveiled a statue honoring Satoshi Nakamoto. The city collaborated with USDT issuer Tether for the initiative. The statue captures Satoshi’s mystery and innovation through the art of perception. The City of Lugano through its joint initiative with USDT issuer Tether, Plan ₿, has erected a statue to honor the vision and legacy of Bitcoin’s anonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. Lugano launched the Plan ₿ initiative in March 2022 to scale its blockchain capabilities and promote the city as a major hub for European blockchain adoption.
