A Wall Street Leader Emptied Its XRP Stack; Then Bought The Dip.

The 13F filer for Q3 of 2026 has surely presented quite a few surprises. Wall Street’s rising participation in digital asset management has reordered the XRP rich-list, while some major institutions took the chance to buy the dip while XRP was hovering around the $1 level.

Goldman Sachs has made quite a few drastic trading swings during the past few years. In 2025, Goldman Sachs quickly became the largest XRP holder on Wall Street, having an exposure of $153 million to various XRP ETFs. That dramatically shifted in Q1 of 2026, when the behemoth disclosed having no XRP exposure at all.

That quickly changed during XRP’s recent dip, as Goldman Sachs continuously acquired XRP between the $1.25 - $1 range. According to the June 30, 2026 snapshot, the $87 million XRP position allocation is bought fresh, between the time window of April 1, to June 30, 2026.

It took them less than three months to reclaim the XRP crown, showing a humongous $83 million contrast from Q1 of 2026. Despite a long roster of known Wall Street firms topping up their balances, none of them close to Goldman Sachs in terms of magnitude.

Jane Street & Millennium Management LLC have approximately $33.5 million combined, the balance sheet shows. Intesa Sanpaolo, Marex, IronBridge & Kaleidoscope Capital come next, matching the figures of the Jane Street & Millennium combination.

In Goldman Sachs’ case, the basket spans around five ETF products. That’s Franklin Templeton, Bitwise, Canary Capital, 21Shares & Grayscale. Goldman also holds another $3.8 million in Evernorth Holdings, which is a treasury company backed by Ripple, SBI & Kraken.

Cumulatively, the Ripple coin-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have now breached $1.44 billion after 11 days of consecutive inflows. The run came days after the crypto summit at the White House, cementing presidential support on key crypto legislation, including the CLARITY Act.

Time will tell if that’s enough to make the landmark crypto bill happen this year. Crypto market participants will most likely be adjusting their odds on the CLARITY Act mid-September, when the Senate gets back to work. Before that happens, XRP’s price will likely remain in a tightly capped range between $1.3 to $1.5.
