Colleen Coyne has spent 25+ years working at startup companies. With experience in industries that range from software to consumer goods to sports teams, she has embraced the challenges and rewards that come with entering new territory. Colleen is also a proud Olympian. She and her American teammates claimed the first ever gold medal awarded in women’s ice hockey in 1998. Following her athletic career, Colleen’s first stop in high tech was Groove Networks, Inc., a collaboration software-as-a-service platform started by Ray Ozzie and later sold to Microsoft. Following the sale of Groove Networks, she joined HubSpot, Inc. in the fall of 2006. Just the fourth employee at the company, she held many different roles as HubSpot outgrew their incubator space in the heart of Kendall Square en route to becoming the multi-billion dollar company it is today.
