In a significant development, Celer Network has announced the launch of cBridge support for the Linea Mainnet, a zkEVM L2 solution for Ethereum. Celer Implements The xAsset Model 

Celer is primed to support asset and token bridging initially by implementing the xAsset model, a lock-and-mint mechanism, for facilitating token transfers between external chains and the Linea Mainnet. In parallel, dialogues are progressing to incorporate Celer’s Inter-chain Messaging Framework, a universal message-passing protocol, to streamline the process for developers designing dApps with cross-chain application logics on Linea.
