KZOO Brings AIOT DePIN on BNB Chain, Boosting Scalability, Interoperability Capabilities

KZOO (AIOT) is a decentralized blockchain platform that combines artificial intelligence and IoT (Internet of Things) for secure, independent, and responsive data exchange between linked devices.

The network is part of a new trend in DePIN that combines AI and IoT (collectively known as AIOT) – a new trend that connects physical hardware with decentralized network.

Today, KZOO announced the launch of its AIOT network on the BNB Chain.

KZOO Builds DePIN Network on BNB Chain

Based on this partnership, KZOO disclosed the reason why it chose to build its AIOT network on the BNB Chain.

BNB Chain is known to offer rapid transaction speed, with low gas fees, and EVM-compatible blockchain capability. This therefore forms an ideal match for KZOO’s infrastructure, enabling complete workflow from sensors to a blockchain that is interoperable, scalable, and secure.

As mentioned above, KZOO, a decentralized network that combines AI and IoT to form what is called AIOT, is designed to collect real-world environmental data (like humidity, noise pollution, air quality) through physical hardware devices, while enabling user interaction through digital pet games derived from animal memes.

KZOO’s DePIN infrastructure consists of hardware devices (called P-mini devices) and software layer (V2 virtual pet AI application), designed for gathering environmental data significant for next-gen AI applications and improving data collection and user engagement through AI technology. All of this architecture is powered by an intelligent rewarding mechanism through the AIOT token and a physical NFT system.

The platform’s focus is to reach a broad community, motivating people to monitor their environment in a fun, useful, and affordable manner. Since its launch in March 2025, the platform has already witnessed a huge adoption with over 12 million network users utilizing OKZOO   through its virtual AI pet apps.  

Redefining DePIN, Environmental Data, and Interaction

This integration means OKZOO leverages BNB Chain as its core blockchain network for coordinating its system operations, as highlighted above.

The partnership is an important development within the Web3 landscape as it is part of efforts to redefine the functionality of DePIN in the sector.

Conventional DePINs experience challenges in retaining users as they mainly concentrate on financial rewards. OKZOO’s DePIN network is revolutionary as it integrates environmental intelligence and artificial intelligence agents (pets), which offer real-world value (including health safeguards, environmental quality intelligence, and AI pets’ engagement) that go beyond economic rewards.

This provides true user interaction and long-term engagement. This radical approach widens the role of DePIN from a mere transactional mechanism to a more user-focused and solution-enabling model.

Conventional environmental monitoring experiences substantial obstacles: data scarcity, lack of real-time data capture, and verification problems. Government sensors only offer generic data that misses local environmental changes in noise pollution, air quality, and other environmental factors that affect humans’ day-to-day life.

This develops blind spots in local environments (like urban places) where air pollution levels differ between estates and neighbourhoods. OKZOO’s P-mini devices resolve these problems by developing a local connectivity of sensors gathering neighbourhood-level data.
