Uniswap's founder hayden adams decided to charge a fee in the official frontend starting tomorrow

Uniswap's founder hayden adams tweeted about this like an hour ago:

On a limited set of tokens, Uniswap Labs charges a flat fee of 0.15% to sustainably fund our operations. This is separate from the Uniswap Protocol fee switch, which is voted on by Uniswap governance.

It is important to note that the fee only applies when people use the official uniswap frontend. If people interact through a different one or if they interact directly with the contract no fee applies. I actually think this is a good move from uniswap and allows them to further improve their product. Also imo they are allowed to monetize their product and this might be a good way. I'm super curious on uniswap v4 and the different hooks it will introduce.
