Amid the market pullbacks, a memecoin trader has made headlines investing little in TROLL tokens and profiting massively. The latest development highlights the unpredictable nature of crypto, where even small, forgotten trades can turn into life-changing figures.

A recent X post disclosed that the investor purchased roughly $120 worth of TROLL, a memecoin inspired by internet trolling culture. It is designed for entertainment and community engagement.

Trader Ghosts Market After Massive Memecoin Gain

The trader purchased the token nearly nine months ago, and it is now worth $315,000. It appears the owner is unaware of the extent of the initial investment’s return.

Furthermore, the wallet made its final transaction 255 days ago, acquiring a modest bag of TROLL. Since then, not a single token has moved. No sells, no additional buys, and no swaps. The address has remained completely dormant and untouched.

“Not sure this guy even remembers the trade,” an X user posted.

Whether it is a calculated long-term play or a forgotten impulse buy is currently unknown. Still, the return, over 2,600x, has gained attention within the crypto space. It has also sparked speculation about whether the trader is dead or alive.

Some believe the wallet may belong to a novice user or someone who lost access to the private keys, while others suspect it was simply a lucky play that paid off beyond anyone’s expectations.

Investors Profit as TROLL Volume Soars

Following the update, the TROLL token has surged. At the time of writing, the crypto asset is trading at $0.08575. The asset represents a 4.5% increase over the last 24 hours and a 146.5% in the last 7 days. According to data from CoinGecko, the increase in its trading volume of $21.4 million reflects investors’ interest and confidence in the coin.

The rise of TROLL itself has been part of a broader wave of low-cap memecoins skyrocketing in value amid speculative hype. Like other breakout tokens this year, TROLL gained traction despite minimal fundamentals. Its performance is driven almost entirely by internet culture and timing.

Events like this show the effect of the crypto sector. It may flip positively or negatively. Whether the wallet owner eventually wakes up to their $315,000 remains unknown.
