Key Takeaways:
- Satoshi Nakamoto has posted for the first time since 2018 on X
- Former nChain CEO Christen Ager-Hanssen believes Craig Wright manages the account
- Elon Musk, who owns X, can know the true identity of the person behind the account

YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — The true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin (BTC), remains a mystery. Recently, his verified account on X (Twitter) has made a post for the first time since 2018.
Now, former nChain CEO Christen Ager-Hanssen, who resigned recently, insists the person behind the tweet is Craig Wright.

Satoshi Nakamoto last wrote anything on social media on Oct. 31, 2018.
Calling people not to get excited about the post, Hanssen claimed the imposter only used the account to deceive people.
“That account has been taken over by Craig. The previous owner is a Craig Wright fanboy Andy Rowe,”
he wrote.
He also shared an old post by Andy Rowe where he claimed to be curating quotes from Satoshi.

Will Elon Musk reveal who runs Satoshi Nakamoto’s account?
How can there be a crypto controversy without finding a way to put Elon Musk in it? After years of buildup, the Satoshi Nakamoto controversy is at the Tesla CEO’s door.
Acquiring an entire social media platform comes with its perks. Musk and his team can now access everything needed to prove that Craig Wright is behind the Satoshi account.
Users must link a working phone number to get a ‘blue tick’ verification on X. That could give Musk and his team an idea of where the account is being run.
Also, whoever is behind the account would have used a bank card to pay the minimum $8 monthly to get verified.

Moreover, as some users pointed out, the IP address will also be another way for Elon Musk to verify the true identity of Satoshi.
Granted, Musk cannot just make such data public owing to strict privacy policy laws. However, even if he doesn’t tell us if Craigh Wright manages the account, he can know for himself.
But then, Elon Musk doesn’t seem to mind controversies. What if he decides to reveal the details? That would be something.
Ager-Hanssen has no love lost for Craig Wright
One should take whatever Ager-Hanssen says with a pinch of salt. At the time of his resignation, he claimed to have “compelling evidence“ that Dr. Craig Wright’s claims of being Bitcoin inventor Satoshi Nakamoto were false.
He alleged Wright had “manipulated” documents to deceive the courts that he was the creator of Bitcoin (BTC).
“I’m today myself convinced that Dr Craig Wright is NOT Satoshi, and I’m persuaded he will lose all his legal battles. The board didn’t take action, and my job became clearly untenable,”
he said.
However, Ager-Hanssen was previously one of the firmest supporters of Wright. He offered support when he faced accusations of lying about being Satoshi. Upping the bar, he even claimed people were against him because they envied his “multifaceted and beautiful brain.”
Yup, a lot has changed since then. Now, he believes the latest post from Satoshi comes when he is out to expose Craig Wright.

Meanwhile, Andy Rowe, the other person to find himself a target of Christen Ager-Hanssen, has clarified that he has no connection with Satoshi’s account on X.
As the story develops, seeing what evidence Hanssen brings against Wright will be interesting.
