Athene Network Terminates Collaboration with BitMart, Delists $ATN

Athene Network ($ATN), a well-known blockchain project, has officially cut its ties with BitMart, a popular crypto exchange. As per Athene Network, it is no longer a partner of BitMart and has announced the delisting of its native $ATN token from BitMart. The platform took to social media to disclose this exclusive development.

Athene Network Ends Collaboration with BitMart Based on Supposed Misconduct

In its announcement, Athene Network asserted that it is officially terminating its collaboration with BitMart. The key reason behind this decoupling is an alleged misconduct by BitMart. The centralized crypto exchange has supposedly not maintained transparency. In this respect, the platform referred to several non-transparent actions on the part of BitMart. Such operations have raised concerns for Athene Network.

As a result of the alleged violations of collaboration by BitMart, Athene Network was reportedly forced to cut ties. While making specific references, Athene Network highlighted the blockage of withdrawals parallel to the permission of deposits. Thus, the crypto exchange enabled consumers to deposit their $ATN tokens while keeping the withdrawals.

This development resulted in a confusion, paving the way for inconvenience and financial losses for those holding the $ATN tokens. Apart from that, another allegation against the BitMart is the organization of the direct sales of $ATN tokens on its platform. This reportedly paved the way for an unjustified and sheer dip in the market value of $ATN. Particularly, BitMart carried out this development without Athene Network’s consent.

$ATN Trading and Deposits to Be Suspended on April 9, 2025

According to Athene Network, these misconducts raised grave apprehensions about the transparency and market manipulation in the hands of BitMart. Keeping these things in view, Athene Network has ultimately moved toward a unilateral termination in the case of the business ties with BitMart. Due to this, the trading and deposits in the $ATN token are scheduled to be suspended on the  9th of this month. Following that, on the 9th of June, 2025, the $ATN withdrawals will also be suspended.
