Crypto prices on Mar 24: BTC climbs above $85K, TRUMP rallies 7%

The cryptocurrency market was in the green on Monday.

Bitcoin was back above $85,000, leading a broader rally in altcoins.

Solana and XRP were also showing strong recovery on Monday.

The global crypto market cap stands at $2.79 trillion, reflecting a 1.17% increase over the past 24 hours.

Trading activity has picked up, with the total market volume rising 29.22% to $53.98 billion.

Bitcoin (BTC) price today

Bitcoin traded at $83,994.06 up around 2% in the past 24 hours.

The coin’s 24-hour trading range was between $82,930.50 and $86,632.21.

Bitcoin’s dominance has edged higher, reaching 60.84%, marking a 0.39% increase on the day.

Institutional interest in Bitcoin rebounded in the week ending March 21, with US BTC-spot ETFs registering net inflows of approximately $744.3 million, according to Farside Investors.

This marks the end of a five-week outflow streak and signals renewed demand from institutional players.

The ETFs have now recorded six consecutive sessions of inflows since Friday, March 14.

iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the way with $537.5 million in inflows, while Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) saw net inflows of $136.5 million, snapping a seven-week outflow trend.

Ethereum (ETH) price today

Ethereum (ETH) price was down in the red on Thursday.

The token was down around 0.74% to trade at $1,982.76.

The intraday low and high were $ 1,981.31 and $2,020.62, respectively.

Fidelity Investments has filed to register a tokenized version of its US dollar money market fund on Ethereum.

According to a March 21 filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Fidelity’s “OnChain” will facilitate tracking transactions of the Fidelity Treasury Digital Fund (FYHXX), an $80 million fund primarily invested in US Treasury bills.

XRP and SOL price today

XRP price rose close to 2%, trading at $2.42 after hitting an intraday low of $2.38 and a high of $2.45.

Solana (SOL) registered an over 3% surge to $133.47 trading between $$129.06 and $134.88 in the past 24 hours.

It was the top gainer among the top 10 cryptocurrencies.

Top crypto gainers and losers

Four (FORM) led the gainers with an 8.46% rise in the last 24 hours, trading at $1.95.

OFFICIAL TRUMP (TRUMP) followed with a 7.32% increase, reaching $11.64.

The surge comes as US President Donald Trump made a direct reference to the meme coin in a Truth Social post on Sunday.

Trump called the token “SO COOL” and “The Greatest of them all” in the post, which initially drove the price from $10.91 to $12.11—an 11% jump.

The post also helped the coin’s trading volume soar a massive 290% to $1.23 billion.

Bonk (BONK) climbed 7.01% to $0.00001323.

Mantle (MNT) gained 6.49%, trading at $0.8408, and Render (RENDER) rose 5.43% to $3.50.

On the other side, Pi (PI) dropped 7.46% to $0.9235, and Story IP fell 6.87% to $5.51.

TRON (TRX) declined 5.64%, trading at $0.2266, while OKB (OKB) lost 4.60% to $49.46.

Movement (MOVE) rounded out the top losers, slipping 3.61% to $0.4137.
