YZi Labs, the family office of Binance co-founders Changpeng Zhao and Yi He, has launched a $1 billion Builder Fund to support founders on the BNB Chain. The fund offers financial backing of up to $500,000 per project, along with mentorship and access to BNB’s 460 million users, aimed at strengthening the BNB ecosystem.

The fund, introduced on October 8, 2025, is designed to support early-stage Web3 projects that focus on innovative areas such as AI, biotech, and DeFi.

BNB Founders Get $1 Billion Push

The Builder Fund will also focus on other areas like tokenizing real-world assets, decentralized science, payments, wallets, and trading protocols. YZi Labs, formerly known as Binance Labs, has successfully invested in projects like PancakeSwap and Aster, a privacy-oriented decentralized exchange (DEX).

The fund is connected to the EASY Residency Season 2 initiative, which expands its presence in major cities such as New York, San Francisco, Dubai, and Singapore. YZi Labs’ head, Ella Zhang, emphasized that the fund aims to support founders and create open, secure, and people-centered systems.

Ecosystem’s Growth

The announcement coincided with bullish momentum in the BNB ecosystem, with users referring to YZi Labs as a “money engine” for projects. Following the news, the market responded positively, with a rise in at least 12 key coins from the BNB ecosystem.

For example, BNB recently moved away from a record high and is currently resting at over $1,300. At the same time, PancakeSwap (CAKE) rose by 6.1%, confirming its position as the leading decentralized exchange (DEX) for BNB. Other significant increases included a 5.3% growth in ListaDAO (LISTA). The initiative builds on YZi Labs’ previous $1 billion project focused on the BNB Treasury. The effort aims to strengthen BNB as a deflationary asset by burning over 30% of its supply.

Additional gains were observed in tokens like BounceBit and Aster, with increases tied to frontier technology trends. The sentiment on social platforms has been highly enthusiastic, with users labeling YZi Labs as a “money engine” for upcoming projects.

Meanwhile, BNB Chain has demonstrated strong technical benefits, including fast transactions and over 1 million active monthly users, making it a popular choice among investors. Large companies are also taking notice, with some looking to invest a billion dollars into BNB. Many investors are hopeful, with predictions that BNB could reach $1,400 by the end of the year.
