U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs drew over $769 million in inflows during the week ending July 3, marking their fourth consecutive week of net gains. Data from SoSoValue shows that more than 75% of the funds came on a single day, July 3, when the funds were added for $601.94 million.
Notably, the activity coincided with a price rebound for bitcoin. After falling to around $105,327 earlier in the week, BTC rose above $109,600 before slipping slightly to $108,700 at the time of writing.
IBIT Leads Weekly Inflows
Among the 12 spot bitcoin ETFs, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) received the highest inflow of $336.8 million. Fidelity’s FBTC followed with more than $284 million, while Ark 21Shares’ ARKB attracted $160 million.
Other funds also saw gains, though more modest. For instance, Bitwise’s BITB brought in nearly $57.4 million, and Grayscale’s newer Mini Trust (BTC) added $22.3 million.
While most funds saw inflows, the main Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) recorded over $84 million in outflows. This continues its pattern of steady withdrawals in recent weeks.
Since their launch on January 11, U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs have collectively gathered $49.64 billion in net inflows. Their total net asset value has now reached $137.60 billion, representing 6.29% of bitcoin’s market capitalization.
Ethereum ETFs Extend Inflow Streak
Ethereum spot ETFs also posted gains for the same period, though at a lower scale, with $219.1 million in inflows. This marked their eighth consecutive week of positive momentum.
Although these figures trail Bitcoin, they highlight sustained demand from institutions. This interest is also evident on-chain, with activity on the Ethereum network rising notably in recent weeks.
A recent CoinTab report pointed to a 130% surge in Ethereum transaction fees. This spike was driven by higher engagement with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and increased smart contract execution, particularly from institutional participants.
Reflecting this growing interest, Ethereum’s price currently sits at around $2,560. It has climbed nearly 14% over the past two weeks and 2% in the past 24 hours.
