In what’s becoming the ‘year of hard assets,’ Bitcoin and gold both hit new all-time highs (ATHs) on Tuesday, with Bitcoin reaching $126,000 and gold surpassing $4,000 per ounce for the first time.
The moves are driven by increasing political and fiscal uncertainties worldwide, and Bitcoin’s rally on this news solidifies its role as a safe-haven asset. Both Bitcoin and gold are projected to keep rising until the end of 2025, with some predictions suggesting the uptrend might extend throughout 2026.
As a result, crypto investors are going all-in on altcoins that could ride this bullish wave to even greater gains. One project gaining notable traction is Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER), the first Bitcoin Layer 2 built using ZK-rollups.
After surpassing $20 million in fundraising on Friday, the project generated an additional $2 million in inflows, reaching $22 million by Tuesday. Currently, investors can purchase HYPER at a discounted rate of $0.013075; however, incremental price increases are scheduled throughout the ICO, with the next one just a day away.
With Bitcoin breaking record highs and millions flowing into its presale, could Bitcoin Hyper become the next crypto to post 1000x gains when it launches on exchanges?
Bitcoin to outpace gold after 32% YTD return
Growing US deficits and a weakening dollar are prompting investors to continue moving out of the USD and into hard assets, according to Justin D’Anethan of Arctic Digital. After a decline in mid-September, Bitcoin began to climb on September 29, just a couple of days before the partial shutdown of the US government was set to start.
“Gold hitting $4K is just another confirmation of the same dynamic supporting BTC,” he added in a note to Cointelegraph.
Gold has outpaced Bitcoin based on year-to-date returns, rising 50% compared to Bitcoin’s 32%, according to TradingView data. However, Bitcoin is following an eight-week lag behind gold and the M2 money supply, indicating that it could begin to outpace gold in Q4, as suggested by popular analyst Ted Pillows.
JP Morgan analysts predict a similar trend, estimating that Bitcoin could rally to $165,000 by the end of 2025, aligning with private gold holdings while accounting for risk factors. It’s also important to note that this analysis doesn’t factor in further growth in gold’s price, meaning there’s potential for Bitcoin to rise even higher.
As Bitcoin increasingly acts as a hedge against fiscal and political risks, the outlook for ecosystem projects, as rising BTC liquidity will boost demand for tokens that provide beta exposure.
Bitcoin Hyper aims to capitalize on this trend by addressing key Bitcoin issues, including slow transaction speeds, high fees, and limited functionality. That’s why HYPER is gaining significant attention, with funds pouring into its presale and top analysts, such as Cryptonews, suggesting it could give 100x gains in a recent YouTube video.
How Bitcoin Hyper’s launch could take Bitcoin to new heights
Bitcoin Hyper’s goal is simple: to make Bitcoin more flexible without compromising security. However, the actual design to achieve this is much more complex, requiring a careful balance of technology for programmability, scalability, interoperability, and trust minimization.
Without going too deep, here’s how it basically works: Bitcoin Hyper runs alongside Bitcoin as a separate blockchain, and instead of using Bitcoin’s slow execution layer, it uses the Solana Virtual Machine. This allows it to process thousands of transactions per second.
However, this raises the question: how can Bitcoin secure such a massive number of transactions? The answer is ZK-rollups, a cryptographic technology that batches large amounts of data off-chain and then submits a compressed proof back to the Bitcoin network for finality.
This creates an environment of high speeds, minimized trust assumptions, and the same neutrality and immutability that make Bitcoin a viable competitor to gold.

And since it’s built using the Solana Virtual Machine, Bitcoin Hyper supports smart contracts, paving the way for DeFi, meme coins, AI, RWAs, and more. Also, transferring BTC to and from the network is easy thanks to the Bitcoin Hyper trustless canonical bridge.
This setup modernizes Bitcoin, transforming it from a network mainly used for passive value storage into an active, high-throughput ecosystem that could play a central role in the future of finance.
With Bitcoin gaining momentum and expected to see even stronger gains in the coming months, there may never have been a better time for Bitcoin Hyper to debut. And given it has raised over $22 million, it’s evident that smart money whales recognize the opportunity and are betting on it with deep conviction.
