Key Insights:

  • BitMine bought another 7,500 ETH worth about $14.61 million, adding to its growing Ethereum reserve.
  • Spot Ethereum ETFs recorded a net inflow of $9.31 million, led by BlackRock’s ETHA fund.
  • ETH Price fell 3.88%, but steady institutional buying has kept market attention on Ethereum.

Ethereum news is back in focus after BitMine bought another 7,500 ETH worth about $14.61 million. The purchase came as spot Ethereum ETFs posted another day of net inflows. Even with ETH trading lower, the latest buying has kept attention on the market and what could come next.

Ethereum News: BitMine Added More ETH to Growing Reserve

BitMine has increased its Ethereum holdings with the purchase of another 7,500 ETH valued at about $14.61 million. Onchain data shared by Onchain Lens showed the coins were moved from BitGo to a fresh wallet believed to be linked to the company. The wallet address used is 0x95dE268E950E582A239E350A800C050882612c44.

Per the Ethereum news, the latest purchase adds to BitMine’s growing Ethereum reserve. The company is led by Tom Lee and has become well known for buying large amounts of ETH. Because of that approach, many people in the crypto market now call BitMine the “Michael Saylor of Ethereum.”

According to the same update, BitMine now holds more than 4.8% of Ethereum’s total supply. That makes it one of the biggest known corporate holders of the asset. The timing of the purchase has also caught attention. ETH Price has pulled back after its recent rise, yet BitMine decided to buy more instead of waiting. That has made some traders believe the company still expects higher prices over time.

Large purchases like this do not always lead to an immediate price increase. Still, they often attract attention because they show what major investors are doing. For people following Ethereum news, the latest move by BitMine is another sign that some large holders are still adding to their positions despite the recent drop.

Ethereum News Shows ETF Demand is Still Positive

Spot Ethereum ETFs also ended the latest trading session with money flowing into the market. Data shared by Trader T showed total net inflows of $9.31 million on July 27. BlackRock’s ETHA recorded the biggest gain with $11.75 million in new inflows. BlackRock Staked ETHB added another $0.08 million.

Based on this Ethereum news, most of the other funds finished the day with no changes. Fidelity’s FETH, Bitwise’s ETHW, 21Shares’ TETH, Franklin’s EZET, VanEck’s ETHV, Grayscale’s ETHE and Grayscale Mini ETH all closed with zero net flows.

The only fund that reported money leaving was Invesco’s QETH, which posted an outflow of $2.52 million. While the total inflow was not large, it was still another positive day for Ethereum investment products. That suggests some investors are still putting money into the market even as prices move lower.

ETH Price Slips But Buyers are Still Watching

At the time of writing, ETH price was $1,882.15, down 3.88% over the last 24 hours. Ethereum had a market value of $227.14 billion, while daily trading volume stood at $12.84 billion, up 26.79%. The volume-to-market-cap ratio was 5.66%. Ethereum’s circulating supply remained at 120.68 million ETH, the same as its total supply.

The latest drop has not changed the bigger picture for many market watchers. BitMine is still buying. ETF products are still recording net inflows per the latest Ethereum news trends. Those are two points many traders will continue to watch in the coming days.

For now, Ethereum crypto remains under pressure after its recent pullback. Even so, steady buying from large holders and continued ETF inflows could help support the market if demand stays firm. The next few trading sessions may give a better idea of whether buyers are ready to step back into the market or if the current weakness will continue for a little longer.
