Tech Development

XPOS custodial business transferred to Ezee Solution Group

Over 150 merchants in South Africa accept cryptocurrency via XPOS. To ensure the market’s full compliance, the XPOS custodial business will be transferred to Ezee Solutions Group for better facilitation and growth.

Function X re-branded to become Pundi AI

Function X is rebranding to become Pundi AI, and the token re-denomination is the final step in the process.

The purpose of the token redenomination is to facilitate the Pundi AI Data testnet Launch. The process will begin on the week of Feb 10, 2025. Please stay tuned for the latest news on our social media.

$FX will redenominate to $PUNDIAI on week of 10th February 2025 with 100:1 token supply reduction

Partnerships

Bridge $FX between the Ethereum (ETH) network and Base via Squid Router

Pundi AI has partnered with Squid Router, a leading cross-chain infrastructure powered by Axelar Network, enabling users to seamlessly bridge $FX between the Ethereum (ETH) network and Base, a Layer 2 solution on the Ethereum blockchain incubated by Coinbase.

$FX token is officially live on Base

Alchemy Pay enables Pundi X merchants with streamlined On-Ramp and Off-Ramp Solutions

Pundi X partnered with Alchemy Pay with integration into the upcoming decentralized payment platform, enabling merchants to do on-ramp and off-ramp transactions.

Pundi X to Support IDRX Stablecoin on Base

Pundi X will be integrating IDRX, the stablecoin pegged to the Indonesian rupiah (IDR), into the decentralized wallet and merchant solution on the Base blockchain.

Pundi X Platform Supports Bitget Wallet

Bitget Wallet, a leading Web3 non-custodial wallet, is now officially supported on XPOS and Pundi X Pay.

$PUNDIX listed on Revolut X

$PUNDIX token can now be traded on Revolut X, available across the UK and Europe.

Events

The Head of Ecosystem at Pundi X, Indra Winarta participated in the online event held by Telkom University to talk about blockchain and AI use cases.

Pundi X Co-CEO, Peko Wan, participated in the 2nd Taiwan Web3 International Fair and shared our experience in the decentralized application technology.

Pundi X Japan joined several events in Q4 2024, including sponsoring the OffChain Tokyo meetups.

The Pundi X and Pundi AI teams participated in the Hong Kong Fintech Week, Singapore Fintech Festival, and DevCon SEA where we showcased our Pundi AI Data platform and made solid interaction with the industry leaders.

Zac Cheah, Co-founder and CEO of Pundi X, shared his thoughts and insights about consumer market trends at Google Jakarta.

Co-founder of Pundi AI, Danny Lim, presented the core idea of Pundi AI and the Data platform at Taiwan Blockchain Summit 2024.

The Marketing Lead at Pundi X, Judie Liu, participated in the panel discussion and showcased the Pundi AI Data platform at Taiwan Builder House Demo Day.

Maria Gabriela Alfaro, the Commercial Law Associate at Pundi X, shared her experience as a lawyer working in a blockchain company at the panel in Taiwan.

AI Startup Pitch Fest winners announced

In Q4 2024, Pundi X launched its inaugural incubation program, AI PitchFest, to support promising AI startups in building and scaling their ventures. After a rigorous review of applications from around the globe by our expert judging panel, six finalists were selected, with Cynthia Systems and AI Square emerging as the top winners of the competition.

Cynthia Systems is an innovative AI startup transforming e-commerce and content discovery with its cutting-edge search engine, Cynthia, offering unmatched search performance and privacy-focused contextual advertising.

AI Square develops Industrial Solver Models (ISMs), specialized AI solutions tailored for industries like logistics and manufacturing.

We have kicked off the incubation program and are looking forward to seeing the accomplishments of the teams.

Q1 2025 Outlook

f(x)Wallet is now rebranded to Pundi Wallet

f(x)Wallet is now rebranded to Pundi Wallet. The rebranding reflects our commitment to empowering individuals with complete control over their digital assets.

For existing f(x)Wallet users, the name change will not affect your experience. Simply update your app in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store to explore the new look of Pundi Wallet.

Pundi AI 2025 Roadmap

In Q1, we will execute the $FX token redenomination at a 100:1 ratio to PUNDIAI. For existing $FX token holders, here are the ways to swap your tokens:

$FX on Pundi AIFX Omnilayer, formerly known as f(x)Core

• How to upgrade: Automatic upgrade. All $FX, staked or unstaked, will be automatically upgraded to $PUNDIAI, with no additional action required.
• Users’ staked tokens will continue to earn rewards post-upgrade.

$FX on Base & Ethereum

• How to upgrade: Manual upgrade. Please visit this page [to be made available once ready] to upgrade your $FX tokens to $PUNDIAI tokens.
• Another option is to bridge your $FX tokens back to the Pundi AIFX Omnilayer for automatic upgrade.

$FX held on participating centralized exchanges

• How to upgrade: Automatic upgrade.
• Date of upgrade: Please refer to the announcement of the participating exchanges: TBA
