Kenya is quickly establishing itself as a regional leader in blockchain innovation. To support this momentum, the IOTA Foundation is co-hosting the IOTA East Africa Web3 Innovation Summit on May 30, 2025, in Nairobi alongside TradeMark Africa.

The summit aims to showcase how the IOTA network’s technology can address real-world challenges in trade, logistics, and digital infrastructure, while also providing a launchpad for local developers to start building on the IOTA network’s MoveVM - and previews the upcoming  MENA edition Moveathon, the official IOTA hackathon.
