Anoma (XAN), the native cryptocurrency of the intent-centric blockchain network, Anoma, has risen over 50% within the last 24 hours. The impressive performance follows a significant development in the project, as revealed by the team. Anoma just deployed its protocol adapter (PA) on the Ethereum mainnet.

The announcement of the deployment triggered a 53% spike in the asset’s value. XAN moved from $0.03 to $0.046 within hours, recording an almost 200% surge in 24-hour volume. The token’s market cap is up over 50% to $116 million.

Despite this impressive performance, XAN is still 82% below its September 2025 all-time high of $0.255. On the other hand, Anoma’s press time trading price of $0.046 is 81% above its all-time low recorded on November 16. It remains to be seen whether this rally marks the start of a price resurgence for Anoma or if the asset will return to its lows after the excitement wears off.

What is Anoma?

The Anoma network is designed to bring fragmented blockchain ecosystems together. The protocol allows users to declare desired outcomes via a process that excludes complex transaction steps.

In other words, Anoma is an abstraction layer built for decentralized applications (dApps). The chain enables these dApps to operate across different networks, handling interactions and assets without hassle.

The Anoma team has been preparing for the deployment of the protocol adapter since the beginning of the year. The PA is an Ethereum smart contract that implements the Anoma Distributed Operating System (DOS) on the Ethereum network. This enables programmable privacy, native intents, and interoperability through the Anoma Resource Machine (ARM).

Henceforth, users, applications, and developers can access the ARM and all its features without implementing any changes across chains. With the PA providing a unified interface for users and developers, upcoming Anoma applications like AnomaPay will work on Ethereum without hassle. This eliminates the complexities of building new products on existing blockchains.

Understanding the ARM

With the Anoma DOS introducing native privacy and intents to Ethereum, the ARM serves as an execution model. This model provides an environment for applications to access and build on distributed underlying hardware across different blockchains.

The ARM is a resource model-based approach that combines the best of both account and UTXO models.

“We’ll be publishing more learning resources about the whole Anoma stack, as well as docs for developers who want to deploy the PA to their own chain. The deployment of the Anoma PA on Ethereum marks the beginning of many installations of the Anoma DOS to come, including but not limited to Ethereum L2s, stablecoin chains – setting the foundation for the upcoming applications on Anoma, starting with AnomaPay,” the Anoma team stated in the official blog post.

Anoma believes the latest development has unveiled a new era for decentralized applications. The project sees the ARM as a next-generation virtual machine capable of bringing native intents and privacy to any chain.

The team insists that the deployment changes the game for dApp development, particularly Ethereum-native applications. With the PA live now, users do not need to create new seed phrases, download new software, or set up new wallets to interact with existing chains.

“It’s time for a new era of user-friendly dApps that give people control over how their sensitive data is shared,” Anoma concluded in a tweet.
