Calculated how much I paid in swap fees last year and felt sick

Went through my wallet history and added it all up out of curiosity. Between MetaMask cuts, slippage I didn't notice and double fees from bridging then swapping separately, it was way more than I expected.

The worst part is most of it was surely completely avoidable, I just didn't know what to look for at the time, i feel sick, same experience for you? Curious to see gas fees checker as well, where do you see it?
