Binance NFT announces the end of The Sandbox NFT Staking Program and discontinuation of Polygon Network support, effective from Sept. 26, 2023.

Binance NFT has announced significant changes to its platform. They include discontinuing The Sandbox NFT Staking Program and removing support for the Polygon Network.

These updates are part of Binance NFT’s ongoing efforts to refine its product offerings on its marketplace.

Key changes to the Binance NFT marketplace

Effective Sept. 26, Binance NFT will cease The Sandbox NFT Staking Program, launched in April this year. Users will no longer have the option to stake their LAND NFTs hosted on the Polygon Network to earn daily The Sandbox (SAND) rewards.

All LAND NFTs staked on the platform will be automatically unstaked by Sept. 27. Afterward, they will be returned to users’ Binance accounts. The final daily SAND rewards will also be automatically credited to users’ Spot wallets from the end of this month.

Binance NFT will also terminate its support for the Polygon Network. This means users cannot buy, deposit, offer, or list NFTs from the Polygon Network on the platform’s marketplace. All active listings related to the Polygon Network will be automatically canceled at the aforementioned date and time.

The exchange has advised users to withdraw their NFTs via the Polygon Network from its marketplace before Jan. 2024.
