Unified Self-custody Wallet

Metro Wallet comes natively built-in, initial setup is quick, secured with either a password or passkey.

From then on, you can manage funds across all chains with one wallet.

The seed phrase is encrypted and stored in your local storage and never shared with any servers. For THORSwap users, this is essentially an enhanced version of Keystore. It’s similar to importing your phrase into a wallet extension, but with additional security layers.

3rd party wallet extensions and hardware wallets are of course, still supported.

Passkey with biometrics also gives you hardware (bound to your device) + 2FA authentication (ie. using mobile device to unlock).

On Metro, the entire process from wallet connection to swap execution to tracking confirmation is silky smooth.

Q: Is the Open Beta safe to use?
Yes, Metro has been battle-tested in closed beta and is powered by the same SwapKit SDK+API as THORSwap. Please be aware that all transactions are on mainnet and uses real funds.

To verify that the domain Metro.exchange is legitimate, refer to THORSwap docs: https://docs.thorswap.finance/thorswap and other social channels.

Q: How can I give feedback on Metro?

Q: Can I import my Keystore file to create a Metro Wallet?
Yes! Infact this is the core of our design with Metro’s native embedded wallet, it combines the self-custodial security of Keystore with the convinience of one-time setup.

Q: Can I use the same Metro wallet on mobile?
You can indeed, unlock your Metro wallet on desktop browser, then click … Settings > Transfer Wallet and authenticate to continue. Follow the instructions, enter a temporary password to generate a temporary transfer link or QR code which you can scan on mobile.

Visit Metro.exchange on mobile browser, and choose Get Started > Import to sync your Metro Wallet. Once you have it set up, you should be good to go every time! (your key is encrypted and saved locally on your device).
