Is France’s New Tax on “Unproductive Wealth” a Threat to Bitcoin’s Price

The post Bybit To Stop Services in France Effective January 8, 2025 appeared first on Coinpedia Fintech News

A global cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has announced it will stop offering withdrawal and custody services in France starting January 8, 2025. If your account has 10 USDC or less, you will be charged a 10 USDC fee, and your account will be closed. If you have more than 10 USDC in your account, Bybit will transfer the funds to Coinhouse. After that, any future withdrawals will need to be done through Coinhouse’s platform. This change means that French users need to take action before the deadline to avoid losing funds or facing extra fees. Be sure to check your account balances before the deadline to avoid any unexpected charges.
