Capital B has purchased 376 Bitcoin (BTC) for €25.3 million, completing its largest acquisition in one year. The French Bitcoin treasury company now holds 3,521 BTC through its corporate accumulation strategy.
According to Capital B, the coins carried an average price of €67,182, equivalent to approximately $78,100 per Bitcoin. That price remains below the company’s broader average cost across its entire cryptocurrency reserve.
Capital B spent €309.4 million, or roughly $359.3 million, building its total strategic Bitcoin position. Consequently, its combined purchase price stands at €87,878, equivalent to about $102,058 for each BTC held.
The acquisition increased the company’s strategic reserve by nearly 12% from its previous balance of 3,145 BTC. Moreover, it marked Capital B’s largest purchase since September 2025, when the firm acquired 551 BTC.

Capital Raises Finance Expanded Bitcoin Holdings
Capital B funded the deal using proceeds from recently completed capital raises involving strategic and institutional investors. The financing included a €28.7 million private placement carrying four subscription warrants with every issued share.
Blockstream Chief Executive Adam Back and French asset manager TOBAM participated among the investors supporting the placement. Additionally, Capital B completed a €1.44 million capital increase through its existing ATM-style agreement with TOBAM.
Those transactions generated approximately €30.1 million combined, exceeding the amount allocated to the Bitcoin acquisition. Back contributed another €7.6 million, expanding his ownership position within the French company.
Treasury Strategy Records Measurable Gains
Capital B reported a year-to-date BTC Yield of 2.17% following the financing and completed purchase. Furthermore, the company recorded a BTC Gain of 61.3 BTC and a corresponding euro gain of €4.2 million.
Formerly named The Blockchain Group, the business rebranded in July 2025 to emphasize its Bitcoin strategy. Meanwhile, Bitcoin traded near $79,500, having retreated from a local high of approximately $81,700.
