One Reddit post described a 12-year-old who began investing in XRP with just $100. With the house’s value rising four times, the child asked for an extra $400. The parent saw this as a chance their child could have because it was impossible for them when they were young.

Another user shared a case about a teenager who bought 700 XRP with money she had saved. Shortly after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission sued Ripple in December 2020, it made the purchase. Back then, XRP had a price of $0.2193. If you took your original $153.51 investment and sold it all right now, it would earn over $1,600.

These teens acted during periods of great unpredictability, choosing to buy when the SEC issued its advice and many investors were selling. Their actions suggest that they placed greater trust in the future than in any immediate concerns.
