Bitcoin (BTC) price today
Bitcoin traded at $87,623.48, up around 0.53% in the past 24 hours.
The coin’s 24-hour trading range was between $$85,861.46 and $88,292.16.
Bitcoin’s market dominance has edged up by 0.20% to 60.74%.
Crypto analyst Ali Martinez pointed out a surge in Bitcoin whale activity, with 48 new wallets now holding at least 100 BTC.
Whale accumulation is typically viewed as a bullish signal, suggesting increased confidence in Bitcoin’s long-term potential.
Video game company GameStop has announced plans to acquire Bitcoin as part of its broader exploration of opportunities in the cryptocurrency market.
In a press release, the company revealed its intention to issue $1.3 billion in senior convertible notes at a 0% interest rate through a private offering.
Ethereum (ETH) price today
Ethereum (ETH) price was in the red on Thursday.
The token was down around 0.66% to trade at $2,031.61.
The intraday low and high were $1,982.41 and $2,075.78, respectively.
Ethereum developers successfully activated the Pectra upgrade on the Hoodi testnet on Wednesday without any reported issues.
If the upgrade continues to run smoothly, Pectra could be deployed on the Ethereum mainnet by April 25.
Developers previously indicated that the mainnet launch would occur at least 30 days after its testnet activation.
XRP and SOL price today
XRP price was down 2.36%, trading at $2.38 after hitting an intraday high of $2.48.
Solana (SOL) registered an over 1.5% decline to $139.57.
The coin hit an intraday low of $136.14 and a high of $145.

Curve DAO Token (CRV) led the top gainers with a 15.64% surge in the last 24 hours, reaching $0.5886.
Maker (MKR) followed with a 12.63% rise to $1,456.67, while FLOKI climbed 8.91% to $0.00007292.
Sui (SUI) increased 8.56%, now trading at $2.65, and Zcash (ZEC) rounded out the top gainers, rising 7.37% to $38.75.
On the losers side, Movement (MOVE) dropped 8.66% to $0.4970, while Hyperliquid (HYPE) fell 5.92% to $14.71.
Cronos (CRO) declined 5.81%, currently valued at $0.1011.
