Hyperliquid crypto remained in focus after second-quarter data showed HYPE substantially outperforming the price of Bitcoin.
HYPE gained about 77% during Q2 2026, while Bitcoin declined 14.2%. The divergence came as Hyperliquid expanded trading activity and attracted U.S. exchange-traded fund demand.
At the same time, a blockchain record reportedly linked to Pump.Fun sparked speculation about a possible Hyperliquid integration.
HYPE price also moved higher again as traders monitored whether the token could challenge its previous all-time high.
Hyperliquid Crypto Posts Strong Quarter As HYPE Beats Bitcoin
Hyperliquid Research Collective shared its report for the second quarter of 2026 with several updates on the network and its token. One of the biggest points in the report was HYPE’s performance relative to Bitcoin’s price.
While Bitcoin lost 14% during the quarter, HYPE gained 79% and reached a new all-time high. Hyperliquid said this was the second quarter in a row that HYPE performed better than Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies.
The report also showed that more trading activity is taking place on the network. Hyperliquid said markets built under HIP-3 reached new records across stocks, commodities and pre-IPO assets. Those markets made up nearly one-third of all trading volume during the quarter.

Another update in the report was the launch of the first HYPE exchange-traded funds in the United States. Hyperliquid also pointed to a private rocket company that was priced onchain on a Saturday while the New York Stock Exchange was closed. The project used the example to show that more financial activity is moving onto blockchain networks.
The report said the market is paying more attention to the business built around Hyperliquid instead of looking only at token prices. That helped support the HYPE price even as the price of Bitcoin moved lower over the same period.
Pump.Fun Registration Starts Integration Talk
A new blockchain record shared by crypto watcher LuckyXBT has added another talking point for the market. According to the post, Pump.Fun registered the hyperliquid-mainnet subdomain. The registration quickly caught the attention of traders because similar records have appeared before earlier chain integrations.
LuckyXBT said the move could point to support for HyperEVM. The account also noted that Pump.Fun registered funding and volatility infrastructure in July. Because of that, there is also talk that the platform could be working on products linked to perpetual futures.
There has been no official statement from Hyperliquid crypto or Pump.Fun about the registration. For now, it remains market speculation. Still, traders often watch these records because they can show that development work is taking place before a public announcement.
If an integration is confirmed, it could bring more users and trading activity to the Hyperliquid network.
HYPE Price Climbs Again
HYPE price is also back in focus after crypto analyst Jelle said the token has started moving higher again. In a post on X, Jelle said HYPE swept the recent lows before turning upward. The analyst believes the next level to watch is the previous all-time high. A move above that level could give buyers more confidence. Jelle also said HYPE has been part of the portfolio since April.

The latest report, together with talk about a possible Pump.Fun link, has kept Hyperliquid crypto in the spotlight. Traders are now watching to see whether the registration leads to an official announcement and whether the HYPE price can surpass its earlier peak.
At the same time, many investors will continue to compare its performance to Bitcoin‘s price, which remains the market’s main benchmark. The coming weeks could show whether HYPE can keep its recent strength, while more details about the reported Pump.Fun registration emerges.
