Qtum Decentral Discord Relaunch

Qtum will relaunch our Discord server with some significant changes to invoke community engagement and provide some awesome incentives. Join Qtum Discord now and get ready for the relaunch on August 19, 2021.

Alongside of the successful AMA’s (Ask Me Anything) we hold in Telegram, Qtum will be holding its first-ever AMA in Discord on August 18, 2021, at 12 noon GMT (rescheduled — new date), to allow the community to ask all sorts of questions about the new server channels and incentives that will be introduced. Let us go over some of the new channels we will start out with.

Project Proposals

Communication is key! Starting with the new proposal channel, projects inquiring to build on Qtum will be able to simply go to the Qtum Decentral Discord server and open a ticket in the #proposal channel. When the project opens a ticket, a private channel opens where the communication between the project and Qtum can be commenced in private.

5 a day giveaway

That’s right, you heard it. Lucky winners can each receive 1 QTUM up to 5 times each day! We will be giving away 5 QTUM each day to anyone who comes to our server, clicks an emoji, and is active in our channels. Once a community member clicks the emoji, they will automatically be assigned a role. When the community member has this role, then they will be eligible to win 1 QTUM randomly within 24 hours through CoinKitBot. We will “rain” 1 QTUM to this specific role 5 times a day so active members can have a chance to win more than 1 QTUM as long as they are active. The Coinkit rain function only works for active community members who are online or have been online within 30 minutes.

Content Channel

Community members will be able to add any kind of Qtum content to this channel. They can post links to comments they wrote, custom Qtum stickers, emojis, GIFs, artwork, videos, etc. Once someone posts in the channel, community members will then be able to give a star reaction if they like it. When a post gets more than 3 stars, the post then displays in the #starboard channel. Every week 2 winners will be chosen to win 10 QTUM each. All the weekly winners will then be entered in the monthly grand prize of 100 QTUM.

Puzzles, games, contests, and what else?

The puzzle and game channel is not a completely new concept as we have had some cool puzzles in the past. We are ramping it up with more puzzles, games, and specific contests. Community members will be able to play the games and win. We will be giving away up to 100 QTUM a month!
