PlasmaPay Announces Partnership with Casper Labs

PlasmaPay is delighted to announce its partnership with Casper Labs, the world’s most advanced proof-of-stake smart contracts platform optimized for both developer experience and enterprise integration. The two companies will partner at an exciting period for both, with PlasmaPay set to launch the PlasmaSwap DEX and Casper Labs close to its mainnet launch.

We have already agreed a number of key areas of mutual interest in which the two companies can cooperate. PlasmaPay’s trusted fiat on/off-ramp will enable the purchase and sale of Casper’s native CSPR token following the launch of its mainnet in Q1 2021. Our forthcoming decentralized exchange, PlasmaSwap, will also support CSPR token trading.

As well as establishing fiat payment rails, PlasmaPay will equip the Casper Network with wallet infrastructure to enable CSPR token-holders to store and manage their digital assets in a secure, non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet. The digital wallet will also enable interaction with decentralized applications (dApps) built on Casper.

The companies will further work to integrate PlasmaChain with the Casper Network. Unlike other blockchains, PlasmaChain is designed with the needs of both crypto and traditional finance in mind, helping payment companies, banks, and internet firms take advantage of blockchain technology in their everyday business.
