Cryptocurrencies landing on the literal moon surface - Beneficial for crypto industry or only useless PR stunt?

With all the "meme coin chaos" going on, I thought I'd try a slightly different discussion, so:

Elon Musk started the whole thing, after all.... Now the real race (Crypto-Space-Race) has emerged about who is going to fly to the moon or wants to land there, when and how.

Simple question: do you think this is all just a stupid stunt or can this "race" draw enough attention to cryptocurrencies as a whole to get more people involved in crypto?

For those who don't know:

Projects involved in moon missions (as far as i know) are Doge (with Elon), SuperBid (with NASA contraotor, Astrobotic) and BitMEX (also Astrobotic).
