I send $1,000 to my parents each month. It used to cost me $50 with Western Union. Now it costs me $1.

I’ve been helping out my family ever since I left the country to go work abroad. We live in a relatively developing country so $1k per month is actually more than decent.

Now $50 might not seem a lot, but symbolically speaking, having fees decrease by 98% is freaking mental.

I use Tron network on Binance and sometimes Kalmar both of which have proven to be a way faster, more convenient and WAY cheaper means of sending funds than Western Union.

Things like this will definitely make peope more aware of crypto. If anything we’re already seeing things like crypto credit cards from platforms like Binance, Baanx and Coinbase become more and more popular. So hopefully this would soon evolve into full on crypto payments?
