Do we have any upcoming blockchain solutions (either L2 or EVM chain) that offers Solidity based confidential smart contracts where part of the state can be concealed. Despite the regulatory backlash from Tornado Cash I think programmable privacy will play a huge role going forward 🔐

I've tried to research some of the current solutions and most of them seem to be conceptual ideas for now. ZK Proofs are also some time away and may not be readily scalable. I particularly found the TEE model quite interesting. It basically involves using secure enclaves to process smart contracts. For now I've only seen Oasis introduce this framework for one of its L2s called Sapphire. It's currently on testnet and is a few weeks from its mainnet launch.

What do you think are the best solutions available at this point in time? 🤔
