ECB Warns Stablecoins Are Rising Fast With Spillover Risks 

ECB has assessed that stablecoins have reached record size, dominated by USDT and USDC, while euro-denominated tokens stay tiny, and has warned that de-pegging risks, runs on reserves and links to U.S. Treasuries could transmit stress into global markets without closer cross-border oversight.
