BTC Mining on ASIC Miners Profitable right now?

I have been thinking about getting a entry-mid level ASIC Miner, my google searches tell me they do give $6 - $8 worth of crypto daily, not bad at all. No worries about electricity bills (Everything Solor, free electricity)

Real question are these miners really good, are there any dead ends in this. Like upgrades required or get new miner as this has gotten old, stuff like this.

And what is Solo Mining? sounds like a scam, anyone know anyone who has actually succeeded in doing that?
