Conscious Token (CONSCIOUS) Rallies 43% Following Web3 Gaming Collaboration With RONA

Cryptocurrency project Consciousness has partnered with Web3 gaming platform RONA to onboard Web2 gamers into the gaming finance (GameFi) ecosystem. Following the collaboration news, Consciousness’ native token, CONSCIOUS, soared by over 43% to a trading price of $0.1017.

Consciousness to Publicize Web3 Gaming

Consciousness is a Hong Kong-based crypto project that advocates the connection between the soul and mind. It is on a mission to improve the mental wellness of its community. Its website features meditation sessions, songs, books, quotes, AI-powered tools, and IRL events.

While at it, the project has integrated blockchain into its narrative. On March 13th, Consciousness launched its native token via Four.Meme, a popular memecoin generator on the BNB Chain. The project’s team explained that the CONSCIOUS token will support its effort to bring community-driven research, meditation events, and mental health solutions fueled by artificial intelligence (AI). It has a total supply of one billion tokens, all currently circulating.

Despite being less than a month old as of this writing, CONSCIOUS has amassed a market capitalization of $101.58 million. Notably, the token’s peak valuation is its surge to $0.1017, which occurred after its collaboration with RONA. At press time, the digital asset maintains a trading price of $0.101, a 38% increase over the past 24 hours.

Consciousness explained that the latest deal will merge minds and consoles. It also blends “mindful movement” with immersive gameplay. RONA reiterated this in its post, calling the collaboration “a new era of conscious gaming.” Since users are expected to grow and boost their earnings within the ecosystem, RONA touted the latest endeavor as a PlayToEvolve gaming effort.

How the Web3 Gaming Ecosystem is Faring

Web3 gaming has garnered massive attention in recent years thanks to its rewarding mechanism. Instead of gamers spending hours engaging in gameplay without getting rewards that can be used in the real world, Web3 gaming changes the narrative.

By harnessing blockchain technology, Web3 games (also called play-to-earn games or blockchain games) enable players to receive rewards for playing games. These rewards include crypto tokens, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and more. When users earn these benefits, they can trade them on crypto platforms for fiat currencies. Alternatively, players can devote their in-game rewards to other endeavors like staking and decentralized finance (DeFi).

Examples of platforms that have popularized the Web3 gaming concept include Axie Infinity, The Sandbox, Immutable, Gala Games, and Decentraland.

In addition to these, some Web2 game publishers have integrated blockchain technology into their gameplay. For instance, Epic Games, the game publisher behind the popular Fortnite game, has onboarded various Web3 games through its Games Store.

In October 2024, a CoinTab report confirmed that Ubisoft, another game development company, is on track to launch its first crypto game, dubbed Champions Tactics. Gunzilla Games, another video game publisher, houses Off the Grid, a battle royale game tied with NFT perks.
