How to LP Memecoins on Robinhood Chain and Make Money

Robinhood Chain is a layer-2 network with many new memecoins. People can swap these tokens on Uniswap, a decentralized exchange available on the chain.

Every time someone swaps a token, they pay a small fee. By depositing your tokens into the pool used for those swaps, you can earn a share of those fees. This is called providing liquidity, or LPing.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to provide liquidity to memecoin pools on Uniswap on Robinhood Chain, even if you have never done it before.

We’ll show you how to find a pool with real activity, decide when to enter, set your price range, and monitor your position.

But there is a catch. Memecoins can move very quickly. If you provide liquidity while a token is pumping and its price later crashes, you could end up holding much more of that token. The fees you collect may not cover the loss in its value.

So, you can earn fees, but you can also lose money. Don’t put too much money into a memecoin pool just because it is earning high fees.

Now, let’s walk through how it works.

Here’s How it Works

  1. Get ETH onto Robinhood Chain. The chain ID is 4663. Keep some ETH aside to pay for gas.
  2. On GMGN, check the Robinhood trending section and focus on short-term volume, not just 24h.
  3. Avoid coins that are still going straight up. Wait for a pullback and check whether people are still trading the token.
  4. Before depositing, check the token, its holders, and its liquidity.
  5. On Uniswap, pair the meme with ETH, WETH, or USDG.
  6. Choose a fee tier with actual trading activity.
  7. Set your price range and monitor the position.
  8. Close the position when activity fades or the reason you opened it is no longer there.

We’ll walk you through each step.

Get on the Chain

Before providing liquidity on Uniswap using Robinhood Chain, you need to set up a few things first:

  • Get a wallet: If you already use MetaMask or Rabby, skip this step. Otherwise, download them only from their official websites or browser stores.
  • Add Robinhood Chain: Before approving, check that the Chain ID is 4663 and the currency is ETH. Avoid adding networks from random links or Telegram bots.
  • Get ETH on Robinhood Chain: ETH on Ethereum cannot pay gas fees on Robinhood Chain until you bridge it. You can move ETH onto Robinhood Chain through the official Arbitrum bridge.
  • Check token addresses: The same token names can exist on other networks, so never rely on the ticker alone. Always check that you are using the correct contract address for Robinhood Chain.

The network details are:

  • RPC: https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com
  • Explorer: https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com
  • Uniswap: https://app.uniswap.org

This is the MetaMask form you are filling out:

If you have never used Uniswap

  1. Open Uniswap, connect MetaMask, and switch to Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663).
  2. Do one small swap first to test the token and the interface.
  3. Go to Pool → New, paste the token address, and create your position.
  4. Once it confirms, find your position under Pool / Positions.

Find the Right Money-Making Meme

Finding the right meme is more important than finding the highest APR.

Open GMGN. GMGN is a memecoin trading terminal. It is how you find which Robinhood Chain tokens are actually being swapped right now. You will not create the LP there. You only use it to choose a token, then you provide liquidity on Uniswap.

Use the Robinhood trending list. Focus on recent swap activity rather than a long time period. A short window, such as five minutes, is useful because LP fees come from swaps happening now, not from yesterday’s volume.

As a starting filter, look for tokens with strong recent swap volume, not just one sudden spike. For example, you could start with tokens doing at least $100,000 in 5-minute volume. You could use $500,000 or more if you only want to look at busier markets.

These are just screening levels, not guarantees. A token can lose its activity quickly.

It is also better not to chase a token that is still going straight up. Wait for a pullback and see whether people are still trading it.

Before providing liquidity, check the token itself. Look at how the supply is distributed and whether a small number of wallets control a large share. You should also test whether the token can be sold, with a very small amount.

Finally, check who controls the liquidity. If a small group controls a large share, there is a greater risk that they could remove the liquidity.

These checks do not make a meme safe. They simply help you avoid some obvious problems.

Choose the Pool

Once you find a token worth considering, choose what to pair it with. For a beginner, ETH, WETH, or USDG are easier to understand than pairing two volatile memecoins.

You also need to choose a fee tier. This is the fee people pay when they swap through the pool. A share of that fee goes to liquidity providers.

Meme pools can have fee tiers of 1% or more, but don’t automatically choose the highest fee. A high-fee pool with little activity can generate fewer fees than a lower-fee pool with much more trading.

The important thing is to look at the actual activity in the pool.

If you use a Uniswap v4 pool, the header will say v4 position; switch to v3 if that is the pool you actually found.

Set Your Price Range

This is the part people often overthink. You only need two basic approaches.

Recipe A: You’re Okay Buying the Dip

Set your range below the current price. This means your liquidity starts working if the meme falls into that range.

As the price falls through your range, you can end up holding more of the meme while earning fees from swaps.

As starting points, you could use:

  • Tight or aggressive: about 10% below the current price
  • Normal: about 20% below
  • Wider: 30% or more below

These are just starting examples. If the price never reaches your range, you may earn little because your liquidity is not being used.

If the price falls through the entire range and keeps dropping, you can end up holding mostly the meme.

Only use this approach if you are comfortable with that outcome.

Recipe B: The Dump Already Happened

Suppose the token has already fallen heavily, but people are still trading it.

You can set a range around the current price. A simple starting point is about 1–2% below the current price and 70–100% above. This gives your position room to stay active if the token bounces or moves sideways.

Also, remember that earning fees does not guarantee that you will come out ahead. If the meme falls sharply against ETH or USDG, you can end up holding much more of the meme and less of the other asset. The fees may not cover the fall in price.

Don’t use a very narrow range on a coin that can move 40% in a single candle. And don’t deposit simply because a pool shows an enormous APR.

Watch the Position

Once the position is open, keep an eye on both the price and the trading activity. If the price moves outside your range, the position stops earning swap fees. A sharp drop in volume can also reduce the fees you receive because fewer swaps are taking place.

If activity fades, large holders begin selling, or the token develops new risks, consider closing the position. Remember that the fees earned from LPing do not protect you from a falling token price.

When you exit, close the position and revoke any token approvals you no longer need.

Meme LPing is a short-term, high-risk strategy. The fees are the reward for taking that risk. They do not remove it.

Conclusion

Meme LPing can be a way to earn fees from the activity happening on Robinhood Chain. But the fees come with real risk.

Focus on active pools, avoid chasing pumps, set a sensible range, and keep watching the position. Most importantly, only use money you can afford to lose.
