In June, we wrapped up the first IOTA Moveathon, where builders across the APAC region brought fresh ideas to life. The next chapter begins today, with registration opening for Moveathon Europe, at www.moveathon.build/europe before its online launch on October 20 – an open invitation to developers, entrepreneurs, and innovators ready to shape the decentralized future.

Powered by IOTA, this hackathon is a launchpad for real-world solutions addressing finance, identity, supply chains, and more. With more than USD $150,000 in prizes, it offers both new and experienced builders the chance to learn, experiment, and deploy impactful applications on a feeless, eco-friendly infrastructure.

Tracks That Shape the Future

Moveathon Europe features five tracks that cover some of the most urgent opportunities for innovation.

Prizes across the various tracks range from USD $5,000 to USD $35,000, rewarding projects that combine creativity with real-world impact.

• DeFi and Tokenization: If you’re reimagining financial systems, this is where your ideas can take shape.
• Digital Identity Track: Work on solutions that put trust and data sovereignty back in the hands of users.
• Supply Chain Track: Help drive transparency and sustainability across Europe’s industries.
• Open Advanced Track (Europe): From sustainability and digital sovereignty to mobility, healthcare, education, and inclusion, this track invites experienced developers to address the challenges facing Europe today.

New to building? Then the Open Novice Track is for you, where the top 5 projects will win USD $1,000 each, ensuring fresh voices have a chance to shine on the big stage.

Beyond the Tracks

Moveathon Europe encourages collaboration, diversity, and extra ways to get involved:

• Empowering Female Builders Prize: Winning teams with two or more female builders can win an additional USD $1,000, with five teams rewarded in total.
• Bonus missions: Complete referrals, AMA sessions, early submission, feedback, or join Discord. USD $15,000 in rewards will be shared among eligible participants.
