GYEN was supposed to be a &amp;quot;regulated&amp;quot; stablecoin , pegged to the Japanese Yen. As a stablecoin, the price should never really gone above $0.0087 (the conversion rate from a Yen to USD)&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;But as soon as they listed the coin, people started actively trading it (because of course people try to trade a stablecoin). For whatever reason the &amp;quot;stablecoin&amp;quot;&amp;#39;s stability function did not work correctly, causing the price to immediately skyrocket. Of course, this caused more people to swarm in and buy up GYEN, shooting it up 10x, before immediately crashing.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Then the bigger screw up. Thing is, it seems some users sold or moved their coins before the error was fixed.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;So, Coinbase may be on the hook for tens of millions of dollars of over-alloted coins. And thousands of users are locked out of trading to get their money back.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;If you look at the CMC volume chart for GYEN, it shows just a few million $ in trade volume on those days. I've been digging into the GWEN/POWR Coinbase situation. It seems a glitch caused Coinbase to issue/sell millions (possibly Billions) of coins they don't actually have. They froze every holder's account, and now are desperately trying to fix every transaction. It appears they're deep in the hole.

Has had consistent growth since it’s rebirth and consistent non sporadic down trends. Very stable coin from the looks of it. Has billboards on all major Football/Soccer fields promoting it.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;It’s ATH was $4.99 but after Japan’s regulation on crypto it went down considerably. They have lifted the ban on only 2 coins, JASMY and it’s new partnered coin GYEN. JASMY is incredibly unique in its utility. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;I recommend looking at the charts and look at the new partnerships/listings they have in the works by 2022. The coin is expected to reach its ATH by July of 2022 (words from its founder considering what partnerships they’ve brought in). &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Just wanted to give a heads up!
