Now that practice is already put to the extreme in the stock market. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;This text is according to google: &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;But dark pools have grown so much over the years that experts are now worried that the stock market is no longer able to accurately reflect the price of securities. 1﻿ While estimates vary, dark pools are estimated to account for up to 18% of U.S. and 9% of European trading volumes.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;And these are self reported numbers so take those with a grain of salt. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;I’m bringing this up because there was a theory here that got me thinking. What will the FTX hacker do with his wallet? Especially with the amount of eth he has. He could use his funds to short eth to oblivion, borrow against it and we would probably see a massive drop. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Now imagine when players like Citadel etc. Would User their funds for strategies like that. This is not out of questioning if you consider that their business model basically lies in shorting assets, especially Citadel. Because nobody really trusted the regular money markets anymore AND SEC, FINRA etc had no authority over it. Easy money bc it&amp;#39;s not illegal so there&amp;#39;s no hiding behind it, there&amp;#39;s no questions asked. Then they just slowly pump it BUT also not too fast as to not scare away people that see it growing too easily. Not 6o seem like one of those &amp;quot;too good to be true&amp;quot; scenarios. Perfect! Plan is set in motion. The govs, corps, tutes, etc. begin pumping it, and they run it to 20k as an experiment. They made so much money but they just needed 1 more BIG one to have so much more money. Money that they need to buy a ton more land so they can rent out to more people and have more power by having more money. &lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;How should they do that? Ah, lightbulb moment! Start or wait for a situation so grave that it stops people from working so that people can&amp;#39;t make money thus money is no longer moving around so much. How will we have more money? Bang, turn on the money printers! They can print out so much damn money, they put a lit into Bitcoin to run it to 69k (nice) and they pull out reeaaallll slowly to not scare anyone, paying people to give us false hope that it&amp;#39;ll go back up.
