Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has rebuked Sen. Cynthia Lummis for canceling a planned meeting in Washington, as Ripple has advanced a $4–5 billion bid for USDC issuer Circle. Circle remains in talks with Ripple and Coinbase, whose stake in Circle and control of USDC operations strengthen its position.
