- TezDev 2026 is an event that brings together builders, innovators, and thought leaders responsible for creating the future of the Tezos ecosystem.
- The XP Zone is an interactive experience environment that is being introduced by TezDev this year.
The annual gathering of the Tezos ecosystem, TezDev, will be coming to Cannes on March 30th for its fifth iteration. Taking place once again at the renowned Hôtel Martinez, which is located only a short walk away from the Ethereum Community Conference, TezDev is a one-day event that is completely free of charge and brings together blockchain enthusiasts, developers, and innovators from all over the globe.
The XP Zone is an interactive experience environment that is being introduced by TezDev this year. It gives guests the opportunity to engage with projects that are currently being developed on Tezos while they are within the event’s iconic 360-degree immersive room. The TezQuest competition, which consists of a series of hands-on tasks that will be held at the project booths, will be held concurrently, and the prize fund will be up to $7,000. The following projects will each have a booth at the TezDev XP Zone: Ledger (wallets), Sogni (an artificial intelligence platform), uranium.io (a marketplace for tokenized uranium), Hanji (a decentralized exchange), Art on Tezos (Tezos art community), and Fortify Labs (a Tezos accelerator).
TezDev 2026 is an event that brings together builders, innovators, and thought leaders responsible for creating the future of the Tezos ecosystem. The agenda for this year includes keynote addresses, panels, in-depth lectures, and immersive sessions that focus on digital art, gaming, infrastructure, and decentralized finance.
Those who attend will get the opportunity to gain an understanding of the real requirements necessary to build multi-runtime blockchain infrastructure at the cutting edge. In addition to discussions on what real-world asset tokenization looks like as it advances beyond proof of concept, you can anticipate technical workshops on topics like as native atomic composability, an interface that is compatible with EVM, Etherlink’s quick confirmations, and the mechanics of intents and RFQ-based bridging.
The keynote address will be delivered by Arthur Breitman, who is a co-founder of Tezos. He will discuss the next phase of development for the network, with a special emphasis on the significance of products and experiences in speeding adoption in the real world. Towards the end of the day, there will be an immersive art display that will include artists from the Tezos art community.
Other highlights include:
- The event will begin with a keynote address delivered by Arthur Breitman, co-founder of Tezos. Subsequently, a panel discussion will be held on the progression of crypto yield and onchain income. The panel will be hosted by Ryan Rodenbaugh, CEO and co-founder of Vaults.fyi, and will include Owen (Hasheur), Simonin (founder and CEO of Meria), and Dmitry Kovalevskiy (founder).
- The purpose of this presentation is to investigate how Tezos X addresses the issue of cross-runtime coordination at the protocol level. The presentation will be given by François Thiré, who is the Product Manager at Nomadic Labs.
- Within the Tezos ecosystem, an address will be given by Yann Régis-Gianas, who is the Head of Core Engineering at Nomadic Labs. The talk will focus on the use of artificial intelligence agents in software development.
- In this session, they will discuss Etherlink’s instant confirmations, which have significantly reduced transaction latency from about 500 milliseconds to less than 50 milliseconds. The discussion will include the engineers and protocol builders who are responsible for developing this technology.
- Ben Elvidge, Head of Commercial Applications at Trilitech, will be participating on a panel in which they will discuss the next step of commodities tokenization and what it means to move real resources onto the blockchain.
- A debate involving Alessandro Losi, Senior Product Manager at Dune, and Anastasiia Kondaurova, DeFi Technical Lead at Trilitech, about the unpacking of intentions, RFQ models, and the future of cross-chain bridging.
- An art panel that will be moderated by Aleksandra Artamonovskaja, who is the Head of Arts at Trilitech, and will investigate the ways in which creative communities are developing in the era of online, blockchain, and generative era.
The Tezos ecosystem has accomplished a number of noteworthy milestones over the course of the previous year. One of these milestones is the increase in Etherlink’s total value locked, which increased by more over 6,200% in only one year after the beginning of the Apple Farm incentive program. Etherlink received immediate confirmations as a result of the Calypso upgrade, which enabled the latency of transactions to be reduced to less than fifty milliseconds. Additionally, significant protocols such as Gearbox, Lombard Finance, Uniswap via OKU, and Midas were distributed throughout the network.
On the front of real-world assets, uranium.io increased its token availability to include KuCoin, MEXC, and Gate.io. This expansion garnered a great deal of attention from the media and resulted in a number of accolades being acquired. In the year 2025, the Tezos art ecosystem saw the sale of more than half a million non-fungible tokens (NFTs), the attendance of more than seven hundred individuals at Art on Tezos Berlin, the purchase of landmark institutions, and the formation of significant relationships with the MoMI and the Processing Foundation, as well as leading art fairs all over the globe.
Anyone who is interested in learning more about the Tezos ecosystem is welcome to participate in TezDev. If you would like to examine the whole agenda and register for this free event, please visit the following link: https://luma.com/tezdev-2026.
Tezos is an open-source and energy-efficient blockchain that was developed with the intention of empowering companies, developers, and institutions while also facilitating the transfer of wealth in a digital setting. The scalable deployment of decentralized applications is the primary focus of its design principles. Because it is one of the first blockchains to use Proof of Stake, Tezos is supported and appreciated all over the world due to its robust governance, the capacity to upgrade over the long term, and its smart contract capabilities.
