Harvard University’s investment arm has initiated its first publicly disclosed allocation to Ethereum-linked exchange-traded funds (ETFs), marking a notable shift in institutional crypto positioning revealed in its latest regulatory filing. According to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Harvard Management Company (HMC) purchased approximately 3.87 million shares of BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA), valued at about $86.8 million.
