Welcome to Pundi X October Insider. As we delve into the highlights of October, we are excited to unveil an addition to the XPOS platform. Introducing “Pay via Email,” a feature designed to take in-store crypto transactions to online via their point-of-sale smart devices. Additionally, we celebrated the Pundi X 6th anniversary in Türkiye, the country gave born the Pundi X crypto exchange stores. Product Development

Pay via Email added to XPOS for beta testing

You request, we deliver. We have implemented a new feature on XPOS called “Pay via Email.” Merchants can use “Pay via Email” to generate an invoice and send it to the customers’ email address. The customers can scan the QR code on the invoice and make the payment within 24 hours. This will facilitate crypto transactions via XPOS in both physical and online outlets, streamline payments and offer the option to “Pay Later at Home” with preferred wallets. The key benefits include enhanced convenience, efficiency, global accessibility, and an invoicing tool for online payments. We launched a test version for selected distributors and merchants to test in October.

PURSE’s BDL removal

20% BDL (Burn, Distribution and Liquidity) fee is now no longer applied to each PURSE transaction you made. Although BDL removed, PURSE will continue to have burn mechanism and it goes to reward users who provide liquidity including but not limited to PURSE-stablecoin (Pancake, farmable on pursetoken.com), PURSE (pursetoken.com) and PURSE (fxswap, farmable on baklava.space).

In addition, $BUSD is being removed from the market, and we will replace the PURSE-BUSD LP farming reward with PURSE- USDT LP farming reward.

Double announcements: 20% transfer tax removed (BDL) and USDT replacement of BUSD

Pundi X 6th year anniversary in Turkyie
Following up with the start of Pundi X’s 6th anniversary, the team took the celebration to Istanbul, Türkiye, where our long-term partner, Pundi X Türkiye, and the physical Pundi X exchange stores are.

Quoting one of the team members visiting the PEX for the first time, it was a “very emotional moment”. From the initial contact with the franchisee during the COVID-19 period till now seeing the blooming of PEX all over Türkiye, it has been a long but fruitful journey, and we believe that the journey shall continue.

Global Fintech Panel: when banking meets web3 technology

On October 3, 2023, Global Fintech Panel gathers fintech experts includes Zac Cheah, CEO & Co-Founder of Pundi X, David Ben Kay, President of Function X Foundation and Osman Emre Geredeli, Innovation Center Manager, Akbank LAB to discuss the current status and future outlook of crypto adoption in Türkiye. Hakan Akyüz, Managing Director & Co-Founder of OVO Dijital Servisler moderated the session.

The X spaces together with TRON

Tron hosted X Spaces with Pundi X and XPOS merchants in Türkiye to talk about how we are making crypto usage in physical locations a reality.
