  • Full moon timing coincides with Coinbase’s XRP wallet depletion

According to @XRPwallets, Coinbase is down to its last 10 cold wallets holding XRP, following a steady decrease from more than 60 wallets in June 2025. On-chain reports show that all remaining wallets now hold about 16.5 million XRP each.

As these wallets are emptied, the crypto community is paying close attention, expecting a substantial shift in the XRP market dynamics. Analysts foresee the market becoming even more volatile since the remaining XRP holdings may well be transferred or sold over the next few days, possibly leading to price fluctuations.

Moreover, over the past few weeks, there have been notable XRP transfers from cold wallets to the Coinbase exchange, which observers have speculated to be part of a larger process of XRP dumping.

XRP’s Price Movement Amid Coinbase Wallet Depletion

XRP is currently experiencing notable price fluctuations. The asset is consolidating as it tests the lower Bollinger Band. The price is hovering near the $2.702 mark, signaling a potential oversold condition.

The RSI is 45.44, indicating a neutral market without any bullish or bearish trend. This indecisive time may trigger a price rebound or additional price pressure. XRP has recorded a low volatility of between $2.73853 and $3.01883 and a narrow buy/sell spread.

XRP’s Impact on Market Liquidity

The depletion of Coinbase’s cold wallets could have a significant effect on XRP’s liquidity. As these wallets near empty, the reduced supply may lead to heightened market volatility, impacting both price and trading behavior.

With only 10 wallets left, the crypto community is closely monitoring how these final assets will be managed. The eventual depletion of these holdings may signal a new phase in XRP’s market activity, with traders and investors bracing for potential price shifts.
