after losing 0.5 BTC on leverage, I finally did something smart

yeah you read that right half a bitcoin gone. not even on some crazy 100x leverage or a scam token. just regular leverage trading on btc perps. thought i had it figured out watched some youtub, drew some lines. felt like a genius when i was right. felt like the market was attacking me when i was wrong.the worst part is i knew better. i read about risk management. i knew not to revenge trade. but knowing and doing are two different things when you see red numbers on your screen. every loss i wanted to win back immediately and every time i made it worse.after one particularly stupid night i just sat there staring at my empty wallet. felt sick. almost quit crypto entirely.

then bro told me to try something like simulator. i rolled my eyes but gave it a shot. no real money just a sim with fake cash. it felt dumb at first but after a couple weeks i started seeing my patterns. the same stupid revenge trades the same fomo entries. i was doing them on the sim too. but this time it didnt cost me rent money. im not saying a sim will make you profitable. but it saved me from myself. i still trade crypto but with real risk management now. small size and no revenge.

my question for you guys is this. how do you handle the tilt after a loss? do you have a rule? walk away for an hour? close the app? i still struggle with it sometimes and curious what works for real people not youtube gurus.Tyyy
