Grocer Spar has completed tests in Zug and Kreuzlingen and expanded Bitcoin payments to all Swiss checkouts. Staff scan a static Lightning QR code via DFX Swiss’s OpenCryptoPay; settlement and receipt print in seconds. The move adds Spar to 600+ merchants already accepting crypto across Switzerland.
