Jack Dorsey Launches Bitchat: A Decentralized, Offline Messaging Platform

Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter and prominent Bitcoin advocate, has unveiled Bitchat, a new decentralized messaging protocol designed to operate without internet access.  Launched recently in beta, Bitchat leverages Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mesh networks.
