GamerHash Community Update — July 2026

July is a holiday month for most of the industry. Our changelog didn’t get the memo.
Season 2 closed with rewards distributed, and the app picked up a feature that keeps background processes from eating your earnings. deAPI also crossed a number we’ve been watching climb for months.
The App Now Watches Your VRAM
Version 0.80.0 shipped with a feature that protects what you earn.
AI inference jobs need free GPU memory. When another application is holding a chunk of your VRAM — a game in the background, or a video editor you forgot to close — your card can’t pick up the bigger jobs. You get fewer tasks and smaller payouts, with nothing on screen explaining why.
Now the app tells you. It monitors how much of your GPU memory other applications are using and throws a warning when something starts eating into it. If another app has taken most of your VRAM, you get an alert. Close it, and your card goes back to full speed.
The notifications sit directly above your estimated earnings, where you’ll notice them. Tooltips explain how GPU-heavy applications affect the number of jobs coming your way.
This also lays the groundwork for AI EARN safeguards, which are next in the pipeline.
Season 2 Closed
Season 2 wrapped up and the rewards are already distributed.
Quick refresher if you joined recently. You collect GHXP by keeping the app running. When a Season opens, you decide how much of your Saved GHXP to commit into the shared pool, up to 80%. Your $GHX allocation scales with your share of the total commitment. Committed points burn permanently, and whatever you hold back rolls over untouched.
Every Season you decide whether to take a bigger slice now or keep building your balance for later.

Seven Figures of Inference a Month
deAPI crossed seven figures in monthly inference requests. Every single one of them processed on computers owned by people in this community.
Developers pay for compute, and that compute runs on consumer hardware scattered across the world. The people who own it get paid. That loop ran over a million times in July alone.
Under the Hood
Most of July’s web work was maintenance, with one bigger push on the Korean side.
Korea, properly
Korean users have been with us for a long time, and parts of the site were already translated — docs, whitepapers, some subpages. In July we finished the job. The homepage, store, profit calculator, FAQ and terms are now fully available in Korean, alongside Polish and English.
Everything else
- Login through Facebook, Google, Steam and Metamask got an update, and the login loop that caught people coming in through Rewards is fixed
- The profit calculator dropped the BTC bar. Cleaner view, and the last visible trace of the mining era
- Store buttons work properly again, and old links broken by the site migration now redirect where they should
- GamerHash and GamerCoin documentation refreshed
A Word from Our CEO
The GPU market is wild right now — RTX 5090 prices are through the roof, local AI models running on PC are doing mind-blowing stuff, and rumors are even floating that Nvidia might roll back to 4GB VRAM cards just to meet demand. Bottom line: compute and VRAM are more valuable than ever. Hitting over a million monthly inference requests on deAPI proves the demand is real, and our new VRAM monitoring feature ensures your rig doesn’t waste a single megabyte. We’re here to make sure you get maximum yield from your hardware.
